zeno pic Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the zeno pic iOS app. zeno pic is a local iPhone tool for generating Magic Eye / single-image autostereogram artwork. We follow a data-minimization approach, and the core generation process does not require account login, cloud upload, or server-side rendering. If there is any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
1. Personal Information Handler
zeno pic is operated by the app developer as the personal information handler. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, personal information processing rules, or the exercise of personal information rights, contact us at zplayerfeedback@gmail.com.
2. Information We Process and Purposes
zeno pic provides local image generation features. Depending on the features you use, we may process the following information:
- Hidden content: text, numbers, or symbols you enter in the app to generate hidden Magic Eye content.
- User-selected images: images you actively select through the system image picker, used to extract a subject outline or silhouette for hidden-image generation.
- Generation settings: font, texture, size, position, letter spacing, disparity spacing, 3D thickness, output dimensions, guide-dot settings, and language preference, used to generate and display images.
- Generated results: images generated in the app and images you actively save to the system photo library.
- Feedback information: your email address, email content, and any information you voluntarily provide when contacting us by email.
Except for feedback emails, hidden content, selected images, generation settings, and generated results are processed locally on your device by default. We do not actively upload them to our own server.
3. Local Generation and Image Processing
The core function of zeno pic is to generate Magic Eye / single-image autostereogram artwork on your device. Text mode converts your entered text into a generated image locally. Image mode attempts to convert an image you actively select into a subject outline or silhouette for the hidden effect.
Image mode is an experimental feature. Its processing purpose is limited to generating the current visual result. zeno pic does not present image mode as full photo restoration, true depth reconstruction, or identity recognition.
4. System Permissions
zeno pic does not request full photo-library read access, camera, location, contacts, or notification permissions at first launch.
- Image selection: when you actively select an image, the app uses the iOS system image picker. The system manages authorization and selection. The app only receives the image you choose.
- Save to Photos: when you actively tap "Save to Photos", the app requests iOS add-only photo permission to save the current generated image to the system photo library. If you deny permission, the app will not save the image.
- System Mail: if you actively send feedback by email, the system mail app handles the sending process.
5. Storage and Retention
Hidden text, generation settings, and language preferences are usually stored locally on your device or in the current app state to maintain your experience. You may clear or change them by editing settings, clearing input, deleting the app, or using system settings.
Generated images that you actively save to Photos are managed by the iOS photo library. You can view, share, or delete them in the Photos app. Uninstalling zeno pic does not automatically delete images already saved to Photos.
Feedback emails are stored by the email service. We retain such emails only as necessary to process feedback, diagnose issues, respond to requests, or maintain necessary communication records.
6. Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information except in the following circumstances:
- With your explicit consent or through your active action, such as saving, sharing, or sending a generated image.
- To enable system features you actively use, such as Apple Photos, the image picker, Mail, App Store, or system permission management.
- When required by laws, regulations, judicial authorities, administrative authorities, or regulatory requirements.
- When necessary within the scope permitted by law to protect the legitimate rights and interests of users, us, or others.
The current version does not integrate advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, third-party login, third-party payment, or our own cloud image-processing service.
7. Cross-Border Transfer
zeno pic's core generation data is processed locally on your device by default and is not actively transferred to overseas servers by us. When you use Apple system services, App Store, iCloud, system email, or other third-party services you choose, their data processing and possible cross-border transfers are governed by the rules of the relevant service providers.
8. Your Rights
You may exercise rights such as access, copy, correction, supplementation, deletion, withdrawal of consent, account cancellation, or explanation of personal information processing rules in accordance with applicable law. Because zeno pic currently does not provide an account system, most generation data is stored locally on your device. You may delete the app or delete saved images in the Photos app directly.
If you would like us to handle access, correction, or deletion requests related to feedback emails, contact us at the email address in this Policy. After verifying necessary information, we will process your request within the period required by applicable laws and regulations. Manual processing will generally not exceed 15 working days.
9. Minors
zeno pic is not specifically directed to children under the age of 14. Minors should use the app with the consent and guidance of their guardians. If a guardian believes that a minor has provided personal information to us, contact us using the email address in this Policy.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures based on current technical capabilities to protect data in the app, including minimizing data processing, prioritizing local processing, avoiding unnecessary network uploads, and limiting permission requests. Please properly manage your device, Apple ID, photo library, iCloud, email account, and sharing targets.
If a personal information security incident occurs that may affect your rights and interests, we will take remedial measures in accordance with applicable laws and notify affected users in a reasonable manner when necessary.
11. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy due to feature changes, laws and regulations, platform policies, or operational needs. The updated policy will be displayed on this page and will take effect based on the effective date shown here. If an update materially changes the purpose, method, or scope of personal information processing, we will remind you to review it in an appropriate manner.
