zeno pic Terms of Use
Welcome to zeno pic. zeno pic is a local iPhone tool for generating Magic Eye / single-image autostereogram artwork. By downloading, installing, opening, browsing, or using the app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and the zeno pic Privacy Policy. If there is any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
1. Scope
These Terms are entered into between you and the operator of zeno pic regarding your download, installation, access to, and use of the zeno pic iOS app and related services. These Terms also apply to later version updates, feature changes, and related web services.
2. Service
zeno pic provides text input, experimental image subject-outline processing, texture selection, parameter adjustment, Magic Eye / single-image autostereogram generation, guide-dot display, language switching, saving to Photos, and access to privacy and terms pages.
zeno pic is currently a local utility app. It does not provide an account system, social community, cloud image processing, cloud storage, online content distribution, or transaction-matching service. We may adjust, add, suspend, or discontinue certain features due to product planning, technical conditions, system limitations, laws and regulations, or platform rules.
3. Conditions of Use
You must have the legal capacity to use the app and comply with applicable laws and regulations, App Store rules, iOS system rules, these Terms, and the zeno pic Privacy Policy. You are responsible for properly managing your device, Apple ID, photo library, input content, source images, and generated results.
4. User Content and Responsibilities
Text you enter, images you select, images you generate, and results you save or share are collectively referred to as user content. You retain the rights you legally hold in your user content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use relevant text, images, portraits, trademarks, graphics, materials, and other content. Any copyright, portrait right, privacy right, reputation right, trademark, trade secret, data compliance, or other dispute arising from your input, selection, generation, saving, sharing, or use of user content is your responsibility.
zeno pic does not proactively review content generated locally on your device. This does not mean that we approve, authorize, or guarantee that such content is legal, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.
5. Image Feature Notice
zeno pic's image mode is currently experimental. It aims to simplify a user-selected image into a subject outline or silhouette for hidden-image generation. It is not full photo restoration, true depth reconstruction, identity recognition, professional image processing, medical judgment, measurement, or appraisal service.
Image results are affected by subject clarity, background complexity, contrast, output size, texture, disparity parameters, device performance, and the user's viewing method. We do not guarantee that every image will produce a clear, stable, recognizable, or expected stereoscopic result.
6. Saving, Sharing, and Later Use
You may actively save generated images to the system photo library. Saving depends on iOS add-only photo permission. If you deny permission, saving may not be completed.
Images already saved to Photos or shared, posted, or transmitted by you are managed by you, and you are responsible for their later use. Uninstalling zeno pic does not automatically delete images in Photos and does not withdraw content you have already shared or posted to third parties.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use zeno pic to engage in any of the following:
- Violating laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, platform rules, or these Terms.
- Creating, saving, distributing, or sharing illegal, harmful, fraudulent, harassing, hateful, infringing, pornographic, violent, terrorist, national-security-harming, or rights-infringing content.
- Infringing others' copyright, portrait rights, privacy rights, reputation rights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other lawful rights and interests.
- Attacking, interfering with, or damaging the app, system services, servers, third-party services, or another person's device security.
- Copying, adapting, renting, reselling, cracking, decompiling, reverse engineering, bypassing technical restrictions, or improperly using the app without authorization.
- Using the app for automated mass generation, illegal marketing, infringing distribution, fraud, or other improper commercial purposes.
8. Intellectual Property
Intellectual property rights in the zeno pic app, interface design, icon, name, copy, code, algorithm implementation, built-in texture assets, page structure, and related documents provided by us are owned by us or the lawful rights holders.
Without written permission from us or the relevant rights holder, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or otherwise use such content except as permitted by law or as necessary for normal use of the app.
9. Privacy and Personal Information Protection
We process information related to your use of the app in accordance with the zeno pic Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is an important part of these Terms. Please read and understand it before using the app.
10. Third-Party and System Services
zeno pic may call system capabilities provided by Apple, including the image picker, Photos, Mail, App Store, and iOS permission management. Such services are provided by Apple or the relevant service providers, and their availability, processing rules, fees, accounts, and data-protection requirements are governed by those providers.
If you distribute generated images through system sharing, email, cloud services, social apps, or other third-party services, you must also comply with the rules of those services.
11. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination
We may adjust, suspend, terminate, or restrict the service due to product iteration, operational adjustments, maintenance, system limitations, third-party service changes, laws and regulations, regulatory requirements, platform policies, or force majeure. We will seek to reduce the impact on normal use within a reasonable scope.
If you violate these Terms, laws and regulations, or platform rules, we may take necessary measures within the scope permitted by law, including restricting features, stopping service, requiring deletion of content, reporting to relevant authorities, or taking other necessary actions.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
zeno pic seeks to provide a stable and reliable local image generation experience. However, due to device performance, system version, image content, textures, parameters, viewing method, and third-party system capabilities, we do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, delay-free, or achieve a specific visual effect in all circumstances.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable beyond mandatory statutory responsibility for losses caused by defects in user content rights, user error, device failure, system limitations, third-party service changes, network environment, force majeure, or other reasons not reasonably within our control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable laws.
13. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms due to feature changes, laws and regulations, platform policies, or operational needs. The updated Terms will be displayed on this page and take effect based on the effective date shown here. If an update materially affects your rights or obligations, we will remind you to review it in an appropriate manner.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The formation, validity, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the mainland of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of zeno pic shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit before a competent people's court in accordance with law.
